Save Water

Its now the season of the haze in Malaysia. There's a dry season, and rain hasn't come in a long while. The skies are filled with a dreadful, smoky smell, and the dust-filled air obscured the horizon. The skies are often a yellowish, orangey hue. Its just another day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In the nearby states of Selangor, Negri Sembilan, and Malacca, water rationing has been implemented. Sometimes water supply is cut off for two days, and then reconnected after two days.

How can we save water? Here are some suggestions.

1. Don't wash your car. It runs fine, even if it looks a little dusty.

2. Consider wiping down with a wet towel instead of a full bath. Of course you'll have to bathe sometime, what more with the hot weather causing us to sweat buckets.

3. Turn off the tap when you're brushing your teeth. After all, that's water not going into your mouth, but straight into the sink.
